ASTRONOMY
Astronomy is a branch of science that studies all observable phenomena such as the Solar System, the Milky Way galaxy, and Outer Space. Astronomy, Physics, Mathematics, Biology and chemistry are closely related to the branches of science is a dynamic science. It is transcendental science that studies past tense, present tense and Future Tense together.
STEM
STEM education is a project-based educational approach that brings together the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics. It aims to raise a generation that asks questions, researches, produces and can make new inventions. With STEM education approach, students ' abilities such as creative thinking, critical thinking and problem solving are developed in the field of production and invention making. 21 to Stem students. Century supports their existence in the new world by providing life skills .
ASTRO-STEM
It is a project that brings together the disciplines of astronomy and stem. Learning environments are created by supporting astronomy gains with stem skills. The project was also used as training material for Sky, stars , planets, asteroids with an innovative approach in education. It is aimed to gain students ' feelings of curiosity, research and exploration for space science.

ABOUT THE PROJECT |
AIMS |
The Astro-Stem project is designed to raise students ' awareness about astronomy and Space Sciences. In the project, students will learn by having fun in democratic learning environments through interdisciplinary collaborative collaborative work. In the project, studies on astronomy, space, telescopes, constellations, black holes, other planets, our galaxy, the moon and solar eclipses, as well as information and crops will be organized. Each activity starts with stem questions and aims students to gain skills for research and practice. The activities aimed to develop students ' technology literacy skills by using different web 2.0 tools.

ASTRONOMY
Astronomy (celestial science or astronomy),[1] is the branch of science that observes Origins, Evolutions, physical and chemical properties and attempts to explain celestial bodies. It should not be confused with celestial mechanics, which is a limited and special area of astronomy. Astronomy is a science that studies orbital objects and all observable phenomena that occur outside the Earth's atmosphere, such as stars, planets, comets, polar lights, galaxies (galaxies) and Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation. It examines the distribution, movement, chemical composition, evolution, physical properties and interactions of all kinds of matter in the universe.
|
Celestial science is considered one of the oldest sciences on earth. Archaeological findings reveal that even in the earliest ages, people had knowledge of the subjects of astronomy. In the Neolithic Age, people were familiar with the periodic character of the equinoxes, their relationship to the seasons, and some constellations. Modern celestial science owes its development, especially to the mathematicians in antiquity who followed them, and to the observation instruments discovered at the end of the Middle Ages. Astrology and celestial science, initially considered an inseparable binary and progressing in parallel, had to separate their paths over time.
|
Theoretical astronomers, analytical models, and computational numerical simulations each have their own unique advantages. Analytical models of a process are often better to give a broader idea of what is going on. Numerical models reveal the existence of phenomena and otherwise unobserved effects.Astronomy theorists try to create theoretical models and predict the observational results of these models from the results. Observation of a phenomenon predicted by a model allows astronomers to choose between various alternative or contradictory models as the model that can best describe the phenomenon.

Astronomy 19. and especially 20. the century has progressed at a dizzying pace. In relation to recent discoveries and developments, the following can be said::
In addition to the development of telescopes, advances in other fields of science have also helped the astronomer reveal the secrets of the universe. One of the most important developments in astronomy, spectroscopy called spectral measure (study to understand how materials interact with light, it absorbs the light and emits substances, i.e., jumping to conclusions about the structure of matter by detecting the electromagnetic waves technique) spectral analysis of stellar light in the electromagnetic mean is to start. Analysis of the light of other stars has shown that the light of these stars is basically no different from the light of the sun, but there are extremely large differences in temperature, mass and size between the stars. |
20. at the turn of the century, the existence of our galaxy as a separate unit from other galaxies could be proved.
Then, with Hubble's law, the universe was found to be in an expansion; galaxies are gradually moving away from each other. Cosmology is based largely on astronomy and physics, with cosmological thermal radiation and different theories of nucleosynthesis explaining the separation of chemical elements and isotopes from matter, especially through the Big Bang Theory 20. it has shown great improvements over the century. 20. the latest developments in this area of the century include the emergence of radiotelescopes, Radioastronomy, and modern means of communication. Thanks to these, spectroscopic analysis of particles that cross space with electromagnetic waves has been made possible and new types of experiments on distant celestial bodies have been made possible. |
